Utility Coordinator (NEM Applications)

Ambrose Solar is looking for a Utility Coordinator to join our team. Ambrose Solar is an award winning locally owned and operated company out Vacaville, CA. Our mission is to provide superior workmanship, excellent customer service and an overall high quality experience to our customers from the start to finish of every solar project.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the utility companies for work to be done on customers homes
• NEM application process
• Develop a detailed understanding of residential Solar and Storage incentives in key markets
• Facilitate communication with various federal and state jurisdictions regarding incentives
• Assist with designing and implementing a process in house for all applications
• Prepare, review, and submit a high volume of SGIP/Resiliency applications for our battery back up/storage customers as needed
• Address and follow up on inquiries about project status in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
• Interface with technicians in the field to ensure systems are running properly as needed
• Work with other departments to ensure that system errors have been corrected.
• Other duties as assigned by department

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoho/Salesforce (CRM ), and computers in general.
• Ability to work with others.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to operational changes.
• Ability to work in a fast tempo environment and ability to prioritize and execute projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and manage heavy work load

• Proficient in math and communication

Experience:

• SGIP knowledge and experience a plus
• NEM Applications experience and knowledge a plus
• Working with PG&E experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
