Caterer/Server Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer/Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service at various events, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and serve food and beverages, while also maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down catering equipment and dining areas for events.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with the preparation of coffee and other beverages as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including kitchen, serving stations, and dining areas.
• Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic culinary skills, including food preparation techniques.
• Bartending experience is a nice-to-have but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
