What You Will Do
Our Nursing Teams plays an important role in the care of our patients and are valued and respected members of the treatment team at our facilities!
- Complete nursing admissions accurately and document in EMR within the required timeframe.
- Provide routine nursing care and assist the physician with the medical and psychiatric management of the patient.
- Oversee the self-administration of medication and train support staff in medication administration and observation techniques in coordination with the charge nurse.
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team about patients' medical issues.
- Assist in emergency medical situations, providing immediate referrals, as needed.
- The Nurse provides all services under supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Nursing.
What the Ideal Candidate Has
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the appropriate state and maintains current licensure per state requirements
- Current CPR
- 2 years of mental health or detox experience
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, DCF, and AHCA Standards for all levels of care.
- Knowledge of Safety Management/ Infection Control/ Risk Management/Medication Administration.
- Overnight and weekend availability
