Compensation: $74,000 - $104,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 10% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.
Manager, Warehouse Operations – Aliso Viejo, CA
The Warehouse Manager is trained and knowledgeable in all operational procedures governing Receiving and Inventory Management and is responsible for overseeing the adherence to policies governing Warehouse-related functions. The Manager approves departmental scheduling and provides leadership and direction to Warehouse related department personnel.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for receiving, inventory management and cycle counting in SAP.
- Collaborate on SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) metrics including cycle counting performance and E&O (Excess and Obsolescence) .
- Partner with Clinical Laboratory managers, Purchasing and Planning to ensure critical inventory reagents, and consumables are always in stock, according to business needs.
- Use company software to determine the scheduling of subordinates, approve time-off requests, and make time-sheet corrections.
- Oversee the operational effectiveness of Warehouse personnel and processes through a review of work performed, accuracy of data entered, and whether company needs have been met.
- Routinely meet with Laboratory Staff, Quality Control and Safety Management personnel to assure adherence to all guidelines set forth by inspection and auditing agencies.
- Consider and discuss operational improvements with Sr. Management and oversee the implementation of agreed upon improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Warehouse Operations with 2 years of experience in Management
- Intermediate Inventory Software skills; SAP (or Oracle) experience highly preferred
- Ability to count and manage inventory with accuracy
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (ability to use formulas, link worksheets, adjust formatting)
- Ability to competently operate motor vehicles including van and forklift
- Strong people management skills
- Strong time management skills
- High School diploma or GED
- College graduate a plus, but not required (focus on Business Administration or Accounting preferred)
