Duties: Design and develop custom software according to ticket specifications. Participate in code review sessions with other developers and leads. Participate in scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily standups. Evaluate complexity of proposed solutions, in terms of effort needed as well as impacts to other projects. Meet with clients, partners, product owners, or other stakeholders to understand and clarify workflows and requirements. Highlight blockers or issues arising during development to resolve in a timely manner. Monitor process and log information, troubleshooting issues as needed. 100% telecommuting permitted.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related roles.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

- Use version control, including ability to branch and merge in git;
- Programmatically read and write a variety of structured and unstructured formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML;
- Competency in translating functional requirements into technical requirements, highlighting complexity and problematic areas; and
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
