What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Supervisor position at Ambs Chemical Search LLC?
A manufacturing client in West Virginia is looking for a Laboratory Leader who excels in organization and leadership. You will be the leader, coach, and catalyst for change with responsibilities for a team of 10-12 underneath you. You will work across departments and have the opportunity to greatly impact the site. An ideal background will blend technical engineering and laboratory experience. (But this is not required) You will work directly with the site's Technical Service Manager to address daily issues.
- Provides effective daily supervision, coaching, guidance, and mentorship to Laboratory personnel in the spirit of continued growth and development.
- Creates and maintains work schedules.
- Organizes daily workflow for the Laboratory Analysts.
- Develops and maintains laboratory standard operating procedures and continuous improvement programs.
- Coordinates outside testing services and communication of sample results.
- Coordinates customer sample shipment and receipt to ensure labeling and other regulatory requirements are met.
