Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate shift day-to-day operations of the EMTs and other EMS workers as directed
- Maintain constant up-to-date knowledge and records of all current protocols issued by all regulatory agencies pertaining to ambulance services
- Ensure the security of all company property at your station
- Ensure proper communication of all Field Operations directives to all staff members timely and effectively
- Works with management staff to ensure continuity, consistency, and strong lines of communication.
- Monitors operations to ensure that all personnel comply with company policies and procedures.
- Provides training, coaching and development to assigned staff
- Facilities feedback, performance assessments and corrective action
- Aid Leadership in assuring all paperwork is turned in and completed in a timely manner (i.e. check sheets, PCR, DAT, RX, EMS, etc.)
- Ensure quality and productivity of EMTs performance through driving evaluations and counseling
- Schedule EMTs as necessary to fit business demands and ensure operational efficiency
- Recommend effective changes to schedule for selected employees to fit demands as necessary
- Generate employee productivity and satisfaction reports to the appropriate stakeholders in the business
- Work closely with dispatch team members to ensure proper executions of dispatching policies and procedures
- Make recommendations to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain company compliance with OSHA regulation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) with an acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)
- Staff scheduling experience
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, & organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
