Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Transport Specialist to join our team in Dover, DE. As a key member of our emergency medical transport team, you will be responsible for providing top-tier patient care and ensuring safe transportation to medical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to deliver exceptional patient care
- Be flexible and adapt to changing schedules due to the 24 / 7 nature of emergency services
- Stay up-to-date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and certifications
- Treat patients with professionalism and courtesy at all times
- Provide excellent medical transport services, following established policies and procedures
- Maintain rig cleanliness and organization
- Gather patient billing information and prepare reports
- Respond promptly to assignments and communicate effectively with dispatchers
Requirements
- DE State EMT-Basic Certification (required)
- Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
- Delaware Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) certification for driving positions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more
