Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry and remodeling tasks, including constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures. This role involves working on mostly residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction throughout the remodeling process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, drywall, and other materials for construction and remodeling projects.
• Install, repair, and maintain structures such as cabinets, windows, doors, stairs, and flooring.
• Remodel homes, offices, and other buildings by updating and upgrading various aspects of the structure, including walls, ceilings, and flooring.
• Install and repair drywall, framing, trim, and other related materials.
• Work with other contractors, electricians, and plumbers as needed to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
• Assist in demolition work as part of remodels, including removing old materials and preparing spaces for new installations.
• Provide recommendations and solutions for improvements or adjustments during the remodeling process.
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring that their needs and preferences are understood and met.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or remodeler with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools required for carpentry and remodeling tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and other workers.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform construction tasks for extended periods.
• Experience with various remodeling tasks (kitchen, bathroom, flooring, etc.).

Work Environment:

• Work will be conducted in residential, commercial, and sometimes outdoor settings.
• Physical labor may be required, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
