Group Leader

AMC MSM is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Group Leader to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Supervisor to efficiently manage operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and lead a motivated team.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Supervisor to process jobs according to customer needs and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Meet targets and performance standards consistently.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communicate any delays or material shortages to the Supervisor and relevant team members.
• Train new team members and assist with their development.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including the creation of work instructions, job aids, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide suggestions to enhance performance and meet assigned targets.
• Lead and motivate the team positively and effectively.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest quality standards throughout the shift.
• Monitor and address any quality issues promptly to maintain production efficiency and product standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferred 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct oneself in a professional and positive manner.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team collaboration skills with the capability to lead and inspire the team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2013 or newer is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift is required.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.

· Capability to stand and move around the facility for the entire shift.

· Frequent physical activity to direct, assist, and engage with team members.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
