We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bartender to join our team at AMC Theatres. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing bar operations, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items, making recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Accurately take beverage orders from guests and deliver within established time frames, meeting or exceeding quality standards.
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handling refunds and exchanges with courtesy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensure a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a related role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wines, with the ability to make recommendations and prepare drinks according to recipe specifications.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and ability to operate them accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
