Urgent Care Medical Receptionist Primarily evenings and weekends but will need to be able to cover for daytime shifts as needed. Could turn into a full time job!
Join our TEAM! Fast Paced Urgent Care looking for energetic individual to help with reception duties including greeting patients, data entry, answering 3 phone lines and light filing.
Flexibility is preferred. This is a PART-TIME job and will average 12-24 hours per week.
ONE WEEKEND DAY PER WEEK WILL BE REQUIRED. WE ARE OPEN SATURDAY 9am-9pm and SUNDAY 10AM-6PM. 1-2 EVENING SHIFTS per week from 4-9pm (close) but could go past 9pm depending on patient load.
Summary
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be essential in providing outstanding patient service and administrative support within a medical office setting. Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
- Proficient in managing medical records and filing systems
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic and Meditech
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Excellent patient service and communication skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and clerical tasks
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries via multi-line phone systems.
- Process medical collections and verify insurance information using Athenahealth.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate medical terminology and record-keeping.
- Perform clerical duties, including filing and maintaining organized medical records.
