- Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to transport products from the distribution facility to our retail partners.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Verify and reconcile product quantities and quality with invoices and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with store personnel and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues or damage.
- Follow established procedures for product returns and maintain accurate records of returns or rejected items.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, such as Class A or Class B.
- Valid CDL DOT Medical Card
- 21 years of age or older
- Clean driving record with no history of major violations or accidents.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
- Physical fitness to handle repetitive lifting, carrying, and loading / unloading of products.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and verifying deliveries.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
