ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current customers, to ensure effective product placement and promotion.
- Execute merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and increase sales within assigned stores.
- Regularly visit assigned stores to ensure proper product placement, accurate pricing, and sufficient stock levels.
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants to implement promotional activities, including displays, signage, and special offers.
- Collect and analyze sales data to identify sales trends, evaluate promotional effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for increased sales and improved merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment of merchandising activities with overall business objectives.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements related to merchandising and retail sales.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Merchandiser or similar role in the convenience or retail industry.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and product placement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel within assigned market and work occasional evenings, as required.
- Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and merchandising tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned market as required.
