Machine Operator
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for performing repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products such as plastic bottles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform production and packing operations in accordance with production schedules and customer specifications.
- Monitor the flow of product into processing machinery and tend machines as needed.
- Check finished product for possible defects and participate in quality control processes.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assure compliance with plant safety/accident prevention policies and follow all HACCP, GMP, and Product Safety rules and guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree; or at least one-year manufacturing related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
- Able to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
- Able to print and speak simple sentences.
