As a Maintenance Mechanic at our Batavia production plant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and service on machines, including flexographic presses, extruder/laminators, and slitters
- Conduct thorough cleaning and lubrication of machine parts to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and repair broken machines quickly and efficiently
- Collaborate with production managers to schedule regular maintenance and implement new products or modifications
Requirements:
- 6-12 months prior experience working as a maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Good computer skills and ability to work in a team-based environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
