Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
Operate adhesive laminator, extrusion laminator, or press machine in the Primary Department to produce high-quality laminated products. Ensure a safe work environment while meeting customer specifications and productivity standards.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Set up and operate laminators to meet quality and productivity requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment, web handling, and lamination issues.
- Inspect adhesion quality, identify defects, and ensure materials meet customer standards.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Assist in training personnel and communicate effectively with management and team members.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow safety and chemical handling protocols.
- Adapt to changes, handle additional tasks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- Two years of web handling experience; adhesive or extrusion lamination experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting lamination problems.
- Effective communication skills, teamwork abilities, and attention to detail.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Proficiency in computers and ability to learn new programs.
- Visual acuity for identifying minor imperfections and color accuracy.
- Knowledge of safety precautions and operation of tools and equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
