Job Description

About the Role

• Effectively runs grinders to maintain clean, usable regrind material.
• Ensures completion of metal detection system tests as required and effectively communicates issues to shift lead and maintenance.
• Communicates to shift lead and maintenance when mechanical issues arise.
• Accurately completes all paperwork and delivers to supervisor at end of each shift.
• Maintains housekeeping and organization of salvage and HFI areas.
• Actively supports the injection department by assisting fellow operators with machine issues and assists with relieving fellow operators for breaks.
• Attends shift meetings as required.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

About You

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Willingness to operate a forklift and become certified.
• Ability to work quickly and safely complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous machine operation or related training/experience preferred, but not required.
• Attention to detail; specifically, prevention of resin contamination.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability.

The pay range for the above referenced position is determined by taking into account many factors such as experience, qualifications, certifications, skills, education and other business-related factors. Salary decisions are based on each job. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.70 to $22.35.
