Job Description

PAY:

The starting rate of pay for this position is $25.97/hour

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety. 
• Monitors and updates the posted scheduling board frequently to communicate needs effectively.
• Verifies and prepares cylinders for the application of mounting cushion tape.
• Applies cushion mounting tape per SOC information and department standards for workmanship.
• Safely retrieve and replace plate cylinders to and from inventory.
• Remove plates and cushion mounting tape as needed.
• Prepares plates for mounting, including inspection, trimming, and underlayment of control targets or designated print areas based on SOC information and department best practices.
• Mounts plates of each color on separate cylinders per department procedures. This includes mounting photopolymer plates in register with design rolls as needed.
• Completes all production paperwork including order verification sheets, SOC information and any other documentation as required by department management
• While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
• Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
• Willing and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shift
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
• Frequent use of wrist and hands
• Frequent stepping up and down from platforms

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs

• Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment
