Duties
- Develop, write, and edit technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, and online help systems.
- Conduct thorough research to gather information from subject matter experts and existing documentation.
- Utilize Visio for creating diagrams and flowcharts that complement written content.
- Proofread and edit documents for clarity, grammar, and consistency before publication.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure accurate representation of products and services.
- Maintain a library of documentation templates and style guides to ensure uniformity across all materials.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate revisions as necessary.
Experience
- Bachelor's level degree in any field.
- Five (5) years’ work related experience in technical writing/editing.
- Strong proficiency in research techniques to gather information from diverse sources.
- Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail in editing content for accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Familiarity with technical writing tools and software, including word processing applications.
