Role Description

We're looking for a Junior/Senior Accountant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

Junior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Work closely with the senior accounting team to support overall financial operations

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage and review general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate and lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Work with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions
• Mentor junior accountants and provide training as needed

For Junior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (Harvest, Drake, QuickBooks)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of financial reporting principles
• CPA Certification

For Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or CPA certification preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel (Harvest, Drake, QuickBooks)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Proven ability to lead financial processes and mentor junior staff
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
