Role Description
We're looking for a Junior/Senior Accountant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
Junior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Work closely with the senior accounting team to support overall financial operations
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage and review general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate and lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Work with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training as needed
For Junior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (Harvest, Drake, QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of financial reporting principles
- CPA Certification
For Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel (Harvest, Drake, QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Proven ability to lead financial processes and mentor junior staff
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
