The Role

Join AMD Ventures as an Associate in a fast-paced environment that shapes AMD's strategic growth. This position offers the chance to engage with cutting-edge technology startups and foster strategic relationships between AMD and our portfolio companies. Collaborate closely with AMD’s senior leadership and team members, providing insights, driving processes, and supporting new investments. You’ll gain exposure to diverse projects, hone your market intelligence skills, and directly influence investment decisions in the semiconductor, software, AI, and data center sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Development: Cultivate strong connections between AMD and its portfolio companies, engaging with both AMD stakeholders and portfolio teams to drive results.
• Process Management: Refine internal processes, track KPIs, conduct executive report-outs, and support regular accounting functions.
• Market Research and Intelligence: Perform in-depth research to evaluate investment opportunities, preparing insightful market intelligence reports for AMD’s leadership.
• Investment Support: Assist in due diligence for potential ventures, crafting investment cases, conducting financial analyses, and preparing comprehensive memos and presentations.
  
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience in corporate or institutional venture capital (VC), corporate development, or business development.
• Strong multitasking abilities and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Background in the tech industry or venture investments is advantageous
  
  
  

Academic Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
