THE ROLE :

We are looking for a seasoned business development executive to help grow one of AMD's largest business units. The role will include development of design portfolio, go-to-market planning, key contracts / agreements, financial planning, and long-term strategy. All agreements with the customers should be developed in a win-win fashion to ensure long-term growth in the partnership.

THE PERSON :

The ideal person for this role will have a passion for innovation, being comfortable defining a way forward in the face of changing market and can scale and influence one of AMD largest business units. Will be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast paced global environment. The ideal person will have exceptional communication and influencing skills to accomplish things in a large organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Create, execute, and maintain business plans for key PC accounts
  • Understand customer requirements and bring the ‘voice of customer' into AMD
  • Grow the design win portfolio and go to market channels with key customers
  • Work closely with global account teams and technical leadership
  • Executive-Level Communication and Presentations Skills, connecting with C-suite

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

  • In-depth Understanding of PC Market Dynamics and Trends
  • Skilled in Analyzing and Presenting Market Data and Insights
  • Strong Financial Acumen with a Solid Understanding of P&L
  • Proficient in General Management and Operational Oversight
  • Experience with Scaling Operations and Strategies for Growth
  • Solid understanding of the 4Ps : Product, Price, Promotion, Placement
  • Experienced in Structuring and Creating Deals that Drive Results
  • Experience building sales / go to market channels
  • Skilled in Creative Negotiations, Ensuring Win-Win Outcomes
  • ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred

    At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
