Administrative Coordinator - Worldwide Marketing

Primary Purpose

AMD is looking for an experienced administrative professional responsible for supporting executives and managing administrative functions in the worldwide marketing organization.

Key Job Functions

• General administrative support for marketing executives and respective teams including:
• Executive Calendar management
• Developing quarterly team travel plan; arranging and managing executive travel
• Managing expense reimbursements
• Organizing and scheduling meetings and offsite planning sessions
• Developing internal review materials
• Coordinating team volunteer, teambuilding, social and employee well-being activities
• Managing vendor budgets for the department
• Developing and managing executive gift program
• Copy and edit materials
• Development of workback schedules for content reviews and rehearsals schedules of high-profile executive keynotes
  

The Administrative Coordinator

• Will set and meet project deadlines
• Will have excellent interpersonal and organization skills
• Be highly organized, motivated, and flexible in terms of responsibilities and hours
• Will have passion to win; aim to make a difference
  
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Extensive executive support experience, preference for PC industry or technology marketing experience
• Deep experience with MS Office software suite, Outlook and PowerPoint expertise preferred
• The ability to work effectively under deadline and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative thinker, fast learner and the ability to communicate ideas effectively, impeccable organizational skills
• Must be versatile with a strong character and a strong team orientation
• Excellent verbal, writing and editing skills; rigorous attention to detail and quality
• The successful candidate will be bright, articulate and motivated, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
