Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy-Chesterton Network School, a classical pre-K-12 school
in the Catholic tradition, seeks a talented and dynamic full-time Science teacher to join our team
starting in the 2023-24 academic year. Part-time options may also be available.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry is required, along with previous experience
teaching Chemistry. The preferred candidate will also have the qualifications to teach Physics
and other science courses. Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as
experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.
The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and be willing to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the
Magisterium and a Profession of Faith to the Catholic Church. Candidates must demonstrate
excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of
contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart
Academy-CNS participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and
virtue, and to help students grow in holiness. Faculty members are required to attend Mass with
the entire student body, and they assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activities. For more
