Structural Engineer (New Grad 2025)

AME Engineering is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team . The Structural Engineer will be responsible for helping develop the structural system design in support of design/build projects including Industrial, Self-storage, Controlled Environments, Entertainment, Multi-Family, and other types of facilities.

• Design and specify structural systems including load calculations, gravity and lateral system analysis, structural details, and connections for various projects
• Assist our multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver projects
• Join projects with other engineering and modeling staff to deliver comprehensive structural design packages
• Assist in the development of industry-leading automated design methods and tools as part of a forward-thinking, innovation-focused team of engineers and R&D staff
• Work with our fabrication modeling team to facilitate successful project execution
• Provide value engineering reviews and alternate design options to maximize cost savings, optimize lead times, and better execute projects
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
  
  

Necessary Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
• M inimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study
• Prior industry internship experience is a plus
• Extracurr icular involvement is a plus
