We’re currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Operated Crane Rental team and lead customer projects with a focus on safety, schedule, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing customer projects from award to completion, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining schedules, achieving financial objectives, and exceeding customer expectations. In this role, you will collaborate with project teams, anticipate and address challenges, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in customer site visits, proposal development, and contract reviews to ensure complete understanding of scope, contractual obligations, and job risks.
- Collaborate with the Project Sales Representative from project initiation through execution, maintaining communication and documenting changes affecting job scope, schedule, or budget.
- Interact with customers, engineers, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders during the design and planning phases.
- Work closely with the project team to develop and maintain project schedules, identify critical path items, and anticipate potential issues.
- Proactively address challenges that could affect schedules, construction, or project costs, and develop solutions with the project team.
- Regularly and accurately communicate project status, including schedule, financials, risks, quality, and safety updates.
- Coordinate work crews and schedule required equipment.
- Travel as needed to manage field leadership and oversee on-site activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- A working knowledge of engineering plans, specifications, and industrial project workflows.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of heavy construction and machinery.
- Proficient in math and geometry, with a basic understanding of construction contracts and Windows-based software applications.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or sufficient experience to meet the essential job requirements.
- Proven experience managing projects in the construction or industrial sectors.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
