SUMMARY: Equipment Technician to trouble shoot, repair, and service various types of rental fleet industrial, equipment primarily electric, and engine driven equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Performs routine adjustments, tests, inspections, maintenance and repairs to equipment.
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years.
- General knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and diesel/gasoline engines.
- Experience repairing the following types of equipment: Miller, Lincoln, Hypertherm, Esab, Victor Welding Equipment, Electric and Diesel air compressors, Light plants and Generators.
- Requires a professional and customer service demeanor always be displayed.
- Able to perform physical requirements of the job, including, but not limited to lifting, climbing, being on your feet for extended amounts of time and working in a shop environment are needed.
- As the workload dictates, some overtime (including weekends) will be required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including work/part orders.
- Maintain an orderly work area.
- Capable of multi-tasking, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and able to work with little direction.
- The selected candidate must supply own repair tools, bench equipment supplied.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to shop, project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
