AMECO is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Scaffolding Manager to work out of our Houston, TX distribution facility. This position provides leadership in the organization or functional area and is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the direction of a department, function, or project. The position requires the application of knowledge gained from experience and expertise to the job duties and responsibilities. The position will make decisions in areas that may impact the organization and its employees, clients, budgets, policies, procedures, work practices, or compliance programs.
The purpose of this position is to direct the profitable operations in an assigned country including sales, service, rental, parts, and fleet / site services support. This position is directly or indirectly responsible for all members in the assigned geographic area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Penetrates the scaffold rental market using existing contacts, newly developed relationships, and teams experience to gain additional work for AMECO.
- Drives growth through aggressive sales pursuit process and customer relationship management system development.
- Serves as a subject matter expert within the scaffold business line, providing insight and experience to new projects and existing AMECO efforts.
- Works with the scaffold business team to determine the methods of acquiring assets through purchasing, internal transfers or sourcing third-party material and equipment to meet the requirements of the construction site;
- Assists with the on and off rent process and ensuring client signature exists on all rental documentation for invoicing;
- Understand OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards that vary from country and region and apply these standards to new and existing work.
- Hiring, training and managing project support staff to provide our clients with the most comprehensive, industry-leading scaffold projects in the industry.
- Assisting the Core AMECO sales team with procuring additional clients and building rapport within their team;
- Creating a positive and sustainable work environment and program that will foster continual personal and professional growth for all AMECO employees and customers;
- Delegating tasks and workflows to project personnel;
- Working with procurement and logistic departments sourcing material and equipment to best suit AMECO’s needs;
- Capturing and managing backup for billing reimbursable rental, labor, freight, tools, equipment, and consumables to be invoiced through the company's work order system;
- Reviewing pre-bills with clients before the final invoice;
- Working within the contract parameters to provide the most cost-effective solutions for AMECO and our clients;
- Reporting proposals, budgets, analytics, performance, and safety to AMECO’s executive team;
- Ensuring safety is considered in all aspects of AMECO scaffold activities from concept to execution;
- Identifying potential hazards and eliminations of hazards;
- Incident reporting and documenting procedures to management and the HSE team
- Manage all assigned assets to meet maximum operating return on assets and customer needs; responsibility for total profitability; ensure set goals are met or exceeded.
- Instill a strong customer-focused culture; personally develop close relationships with major customers.
- Assist in marketing and sales strategies, proposal presentations, and project alignment sessions.
- Assist in the development of project execution plans and project staffing for site and fleet services.
- Ensure that proper procedures are followed in executing and charging for services, materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure the timely collection of all past-due accounts.
- Maintain and promote good member relations by consistently applying Human Resource, Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.

- Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations.
- Analyze situations, identify, and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend / implement an appropriate course of action.
- Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
- Adhere to and support AMECO's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job.
- May need to travel to attend to business-related matters.
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality.

Education Requirements : Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and thirteen (13) years
