What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Support Coordinator position at AMECO?
AMECO is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Project Support Coordinator to provide project support for our client and jobsite’s equipment, tooling, and consumable needs. Our sites and customer base include construction businesses, contractors, scaffolding, industrial, electrical power welding & rigging industries. The ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable multi-tasking, strong administrative and computer skills, organized, detail oriented with exceptional customer service skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Reports generation and distribution both internally & externally
- Work with internal departments to coordinate the timing of product movement entries
- Work with the supporting warehouse manager(s) to ensure all discrepancies are resolved
- Work with the receiving warehouse staff to ensure all shipments are received
- Troubleshoot, communicate, and facilitate solutions for any issues related to product delays
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Purchasing for future materials needs
- Works directly with management to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow deficiencies
- Quoting Rentals: Construction equipment and vehicles
- Quoting Material: Tools, consumables, supplies
- Requisitioning equipment, materials & services
- Coordinating deliveries and pickups to and from client sites
- Invoicing rentals, sales, services, freight, and damages
- Tracking expense & revenue
- Maintaining client & site files
- Attend and participate in internal / external meetings
- Effectively develop and apply core skills to the job
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
- Prior exposure to the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting or construction services, including knowledge of our product offering (tools and equipment) would be beneficial.
Requirements:
- Accredited two (2) years technical or business degree, preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of customer service-related work experience, preferably in the equipment industry
- Excellent organizational, time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate skill level) for data analysis, report generation and formulating sales quotes, materials and presentations
- Strong Multitasking, and Problem-Solving skills in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Must be able to work well within a team environment.
- This is an office-based position (remote or hybrid is not available).
- Role requires strong administrative skills and experience to meet day-to-day expectations.
