AMECO is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Technician to work out of our Evansville, IN distribution facility. As a Warehouse Technician you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately performing a broad range of warehouse duties related to the receipt, shipment, storage, distribution or delivery of products and general warehouse maintenance. Based on our small team environment, dependability is critical, including the ability to work overtime when needed. This is a day shift position.
Key Responsibilities :
Receiving / Stocking :
- Count product and verify against packing list
- Accurately receive product utilizing RF scan gun and / or in accordance with procedures
- Reports and notes shortages or damages
- Organize / stage items in preparation for stocking or shipping
- Load, unload, move or store product according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions
- Verify proper placement (bin location) and stock product accordingly
- Rotate and replenish stock as required

Education Requirements : High School diploma or GED.
Minimum Qualifications :
Certifications, Licenses, Registration : Previous license operating a forklift AND stock picker.

Based on the type of equipment we work on, the job is physical and labor intensive, i.e., heavy lifting, climbing on equipment and grinding out of position. Individuals will be required to frequently sit / drive stand, walk, lift / carry, reach, stoop, push / pull, handle / grasp / feel, talk, hear, climb step ladder, engage in repetitive motions, and demonstrate eye / hand / foot coordination. Close vision is required for this job. Employees are required to regularly lift, carry and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Position frequently demands light to heavy physical work. All positions require standing over 90% of the day.
