Amego Inc. is seeking a Maintenace technician to assist with the repair and upkeep of our almost 100 program sites. Join the team and help make a difference in the lives of the people we serve as a part of the physical plant team!
This role is responsible for general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and upkeep of residential and commercial properties. The technician will handle a variety of maintenance duties, including drywall repair, HVAC servicing, plumbing, and general household and building maintenance. The position requires travel within a 100-mile radius using a company-provided vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks, including drywall patching, painting, and carpentry.
Conduct HVAC system inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
Handle basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
Ensure routine inspections and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment.
Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner using an electronic ticketing system.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule every two weeks for emergency repairs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Travel within a 60-75 -mile radius as needed to perform maintenance at different locations.
Adhere to all safety regulations and nonprofit policies with a company provided vehicle.

Perform seasonal groundskeeping tasks, including minor landscaping and snow removal.
Maintain and repair doors, windows, locks, and flooring as needed.
Assist in moving furniture, setting up rooms for events, and handling storage needs.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
Knowledge of drywall repair, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background screening process.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
