**Job Overview:**
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a part-time literacy assistant for our ACES program. As part of the "ALL IN Virginia" initiative, this role will provide essential support to help students improve their reading skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted reading instruction to ACES students, focusing on phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with elementary school staff to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
- Experience working with children in a educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
