Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and skilled bartender to join our team at Amelias By The Sea . As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by serving high-quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take drink orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring high-quality presentations and appropriate garnishes.
- Ensure that guests are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., glassware, spirits, garnishes, etc.).
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes and current bar menu.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with the rest of the bar team and other restaurant staff to ensure a smooth operation.
- Provide prompt and efficient service during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and giving change.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
