Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Busser to join our team at Amelias by the Sea. As a Busser, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include clearing and setting tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and assisting servers in ensuring a smooth operation. Key Responsibilities:
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, preparing the space for new customers.
- Set tables with clean silverware, napkins, glasses, and other dining essentials.
- Assist servers by delivering food and drinks to tables when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including floors, restrooms, and surrounding areas.
- Refill water glasses and offer guests additional drinks or condiments as needed.
- Help with stocking and restocking items such as napkins, silverware, and condiments.
- Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area and help load/unload the dish area as needed.
- Assist with cleaning and setting up for special events or large parties.
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant menu and specials to assist guests when necessary.
- Ensure that all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas and hallways, are clean and free of clutter.
- Work with team members to ensure prompt service and that guests are satisfied with their experience.
- Follow all safety and health guidelines to ensure cleanliness and a safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., food service, hospitality) is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to help where needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a busy environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [X] pounds.
