Project Manager / Field Superintendent - Steel -Miscellaneous Metals and small Building
A highly respected specialty construction company is prepared to add an experienced Project Manager / Field Superintendent to their organization. This contractor is experiencing steady growth and is one of the premiere contractors in the region.
Project Manager / Field Superintendent:
· Interface with clients (fabricators or general contractors) directly. Coordinate schedule, manpower, equipment, and resources
· Proficiency in negotiating change orders due to changes in work site conditions
- Direct and evaluate site personnel and staff.
- Set up site safety procedures and enforce project safety and security.
· Proficient in reading and understanding structural steel and miscellaneous steel fabrication drawings
- Assist with bidding projects. Can perform take offs of material and is skilled at manhour and equipment durations for estimating purposes.
- Review and approve and vendor payment as well as timely preparation of payment requisitions.
Project Manager / Superintendent Qualifications:
- 5 proven years as a true lead supervisor
- Must have a proven work history working with a Miscellaneous steel and small steel building erection
- Demonstrated experience commercial building projects in the $5 K to -1M range.
- Proficiency with safety procedures
- Extensive people skills
