Job Summary:
As a Sales and Referral Development Representative (SRDR), you will be responsible for identifying potential customers (referring healthcare and legal professionals), generating new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling, and managing leads through the sales and referral cycle alongside the Clinical Outreach Managers (COMs). You will work closely with the COM team to ensure we continue to develop new and mutually beneficial referring relationships and that our company’s referral goals are met. You are also required to track your communications in our CRM and support data integrity.
Additionally, the SRDR will assist new patients in receiving referrals to the types of providers required to complete their treatment plan successfully. For patients needing assistance, the Referral Coordinator reviews the provider’s recommendations, cross-references an existing database of resources, or performs independent research, and then provides the appropriate referrals.
To perform this successfully, the SRDR maintains a working relationship with the clinical team, the Clinic Outreach Managers, and third-party providers. They must have extensive knowledge of Amen Clinics services, treatment recommendations, several types of providers, and patient needs. A high attention to detail and accuracy ensures that patients receive the appropriate referrals that correspond with their specific treatment plan. The SRDR is responsible for referral operations at assigned clinics, establishing and standardizing systems and procedures for the distribution and use of health information throughout the organization, coordinating and referral functions with all other departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identifying potential customers and generating new business opportunities for the company.
· Contacting and qualifying potential referents by phone and on zoom.
· Cold Calling and internet research to find fitting professional.
· Working closely with the Clinic Outreach Managers on the Western Region.
· Creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads.
· Setting calendared appointments for the Clinical Outreach Managers.
· Responsible for ensuring the delivery of an exceptional patient experience regarding external referrals.
· Place outbound follow-up calls to patients with referral requests.
· Ensures current and standardized referral policies and workflows.
· Respond to patient referral requests in a timely fashion.
· Consistent communication with the Clinical Team and Clinic Outreach Team to ensure current patient needs and appropriate referrals.
· Coordination with patient and Insurance Specialist for patients that have insurance Out of Network questions.
· Reviews details and expectations about the referral with both ordering providers and patients.
· Identifies and uses community resources where the patients reside; establishes relationships with servicing providers and personnel.
· Point of contact for patients and referents for any questions or rising concerns.
· Maintain EHR database and update all new referents; communicate with COM team when a new referent is identified.
· Periodic support at conference exhibit booths.
· Assist with various duties or work on special assignments as time permits.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Mental Health/Intake experience and familiarity with medical terms and office operations is preferred.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism
- Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with patients and referents over the phone.
