Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in pediatrics in a home health setting while contributing and collaborating on innovative new ideas with other disciplines. We are a local home health therapy company owned and operated by a therapist. We provide home health and outpatient clinic services in the city of Houston, TX, and surrounding suburbs.
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care according to the patient's individual physician orders. Patient care may involve evaluations, administering prescribed treatments and therapies, care planning, communication with other members of the patients' multi-disciplinary team, emergency management, coordination of care, health promotion, and teaching and training family members.
- Language : Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
Requirements for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) :
Current active SLP Texas state therapy license
Current CPR certification
Responsibilities & duties of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) :
Gain experience in a home setting
Treat a variety of ages, up to 21 years of age
Maintain journal records - reports / notes
Complete and submit reassessment or evaluation on time
Treat a minimum of 16 patients / 32 visits a week
Bilingual preferably Spanish
