What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST position at Amenity Pool Services?
As the Accounts Payable Specialist you will support The Amenity Pool Service's finance team by being responsible for the full process of accounts payable, which includes communications with the managing partners, warehouse supervisors & lead admins, coding invoices, entering invoices and delegating tasks to bookkeepers. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify and reconcile supplier / vendor statements monthly
- Create an accrual spreadsheet for each Amenity Pool Services operation at month end close, if applicable
- Monitor supplier invoice folders daily and delegate accordingly
- Ensure all rent, subcontractor payments, and customer refund request are entered weekly, by the deadline
- Partner with The Amenity Collective's Accounts Payable team to ensure all payments are sent timely and correctly (ex. ACH, Check, regular mail, UPS)
- Receive, code, and enter all invoices being expensed to Amenity Pool Services overhead company
- Monitor POs in Salesforce daily to ensure no integration errors are present
- Assist the Managing Partners and Amenity Pool Services Finance team on researching and locating customer payments, upon request
- Respond to all emails and inquiries raised by managers and data entry employees
- Create time saving efficiencies, process changes to improve overall efficiencies of roll
- Review Accounts Payable Aging report bi-weekly to ensure payment terms are being met
- Analyze financial statement and supplier statements to look for cost saving opportunities
- Track any / all out of period expenses that will impact Profit & Loss statement
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned; including, but not limited to : administrative functions, audits, reporting, special projects, and more

COMPENSATION
The Accounts Payable Specialist position has a starting salary of $58,000 - $62,000 per annum. The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the actual salary may vary from the estimates provided above.
LOCATION & HOURS
This is a full-time on-site position located out of The Amenity Collective's corporate headquarters in Owings Mills, MD. The role will be a 42-46 hour work week during the first week of the month, on a continued bases
