Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials and products efficiently within our distribution center. A strong emphasis will be placed on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations.
Duties
- Efficiently transports materials and supplies to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock items as necessary to maintain optimal workflow.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and deep reach trucks safely and effectively.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
- Package products for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to identify needs for materials and address any supply shortages promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is required.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) required.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts safely.
- Strong physical stamina with the capability to perform lifting 40 lbs. materials regularly.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Be able to perform cycle counts.
- Previous experience with SAP systems is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
