Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and equipment in a warehouse setting.
Duties
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and orders
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using a pallet jack
- Work closely with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure efficient operations
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations during operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as cranes
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
