Lab Technician Trainee

3 Months contract to hire

CANDIDATE PAY RATE/RANGE : $19.9/hr.

Hours: 12 hour shifts

Rotation Details 12 hour shifts. 8 on / 4 off, swapping day-shift and night-shift until fully trained. May change to straight-days or nights in the future if staff level allows for it. Rotators would be assigned 15 on / 6 off schedule (day 1 and 15 travel days).We would prefer to hire locally. However we will consider rotator applicants. We'll provide temporary rotation while employee is on contract. But employee must relocate to Williston after rollover, which we will provide relo assistance. Per diem is provided while rotating. Must provide own commuter transportation while in Williston

We’re looking for individuals who:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent who are willing and eager to learn a specialized set of skills to become a technical expert in O&G cement fluid design, quality control, and lab operation.
- Are well-familiar with Microsoft operating systems and Office apps.
- Have a solid attention to detail, and unwavering ability to follow procedures
- Are willing to work a schedule of 8 on / 4 off, rotating between day shift and night shift
- Are flexible to infrequent schedule changes as dictated by the needs of the business.
- Able to pass company mandated pre-employment screening.
- Comfortable working either as part a team with other members in the staff, and can also adapt to working stand-alone.
- Available to occasionally travel for additional training classes, or to support another lab with fluctuating workloads."

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Lab Technician: 1 year (Required)
• Cementing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Oil & gas: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
