Job Summary: Water Services specializes in assessing, developing and managing the world's water resources using the most powerful and cost-effective technologies available today. The dedicated team of engineers, earth scientist" The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.

Additional Responsibilities
Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability cantered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labour costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
Comply with TLM Product Line standards.
Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time, which includes reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and repair authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process.
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.
Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
Comply with the TLM Competency Management System. Degree and qualification level:
o HS Diploma – Required
o G.E.D – Required
o Associates Degree - Preferred
- Years of specific experience
- o Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience - Required
- Knowledge of specific systems
o Basic understanding of engines, transmissions, and basic oilfield equipment (i.e. Pumping equipment)

The Technician performs procedures and processes to ensure that the field activities match the plan. He/she must comply with Company quality, safety and environmental standards and policies
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reviews the design/plan of the field activity and ensures the availability of adequate resources for implementation.
- Prepares daily reports, daily data charts, quick-look interpretation and data quality checks.- Loads field data into database.
- Implements and supervises the field activity as per the issued program
.- Ensures full compliance with QHSE requirements during the execution of the work.
- Supervises contractor's operation on the site.
- QA/QC of the collected data in the field.
- Ensures daily (or as needed) communication with the location and reports all incidents including QHSE.
- Ensures proper handling of the Client's representative on the site and communicate the feedback to the location.
- Other duties as assigned. Skills: - Power of observation.

Education Requirements: Education: Associate Degree, diploma (High school plus 2-3 years) or technical qualification. Experience: Knowledge in Health, Safety and Environmental standards. Key Competencies:- Basic computer skills in MS-Office.- Good communication skills - oral and written.
