Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at Hero Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading trailers, as well as moving freight across the dock using a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trailers and move products within the warehouse.
- Transport products, materials, or equipment to designated areas in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-operational checks of forklifts to ensure proper functioning and report maintenance needs.
- Stack and organize products in compliance with company safety and storage standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Perform basic quality control checks to ensure items are not damaged or defective.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve efficiency and safety practices.
Job Requirements:
- Must successfully pass a forklift driving test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- A satisfactory background check is required.
- Prior forklift operating experience is a plus
- Prior forklift Certification is a plus.
- Must have High School diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory processes is preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Evening shift
