Job Description:
As a Reach Truck Operator in Red Oak, TX, your primary responsibility is to efficiently and safely operate a reach truck to handle warehouse operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth inventory flow and supporting the overall logistics process.
Certification
Forklift certified (Required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to load, unload, move, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and stage orders accurately according to work orders and shipping schedules.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including scanning and labeling products using RF scanners.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient storage practices.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure operational safety and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packaging, shipping, and receiving as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a reach truck operator or similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate a reach truck safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory management, and RF scanner use.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Contract, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
