What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Forklift Operator position at Amer Technology, Inc?
Pay Rate $18/hour, up to $18.50 if forklift certified (will have to pass internal training with client).
3 - 6 months contract.
In-person interviews will be requested.
What will you do?
This position moves materials internally around our facility, including stock components and is responsible for inventory control and other duties as assigned.
Material identification, movement, storage and disposal
Inventory accuracy and cycle counting
Perform lean manufacturing concepts, including 5S
Verbal communication with other departments
What qualifications will make you successful?
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience in a warehouse inventory environment
Comfort with Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Prior use of powered industrial trucks/forklifts
Experience with barcode scanning systems, and Windows based computer knowledge
Experience with SAP preferred
Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm
