Warehouse worker/ High Reach forklift

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers and clamp trucks, to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in selecting and preparing items for shipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.
• Utilize the warehouse management system for tracking inventory movements and updates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other forklifts.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Overtime
