Commercial Real Estate Company is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Roving Porter to join our team of professionals in Fort Lauderdale. Based in Fort Lauderdale and may service properties in Coral Springs, as needed.
Job Summary:
The Porter will be responsible for providing care and maintaining overall cleanliness to company owned properties and assets according to set policy and training given.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains assigned cleaning route given by Operations and Facilities Manager.
- Monitors properties conditions and reports to assigned supervisor.
- Maintains sanitation to all common areas as assigned by Operations and Facilities Manager.
- Performs tasks as assigned by management in a professional manner. Tasks include but not limited to portering, cobwebbing, cleaning benches, clearing trash cans, blowing and sweeping leaves/litter, cleaning windows and other surfaces
- Assists in general maintenance as needed.
- Carries communication device at all times for dispatch of tasks and emergency items.
- Reports to assigned property as per company emergency disaster plans related to weather events and other emergencies.
- Competitive salary; commensurate with experience.
- Handles dumpster enclosure sanitation on a daily basis.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Monday – Friday: 7am-4pm (1 hour for lunch); Total Hours per week: 40
- Note: Occasional weekend, Holiday & evening coverage required. Flexibility required. Notice will be provided for any schedule modifications or changes.
- Primary position in Fort Lauderdale with periodic service in the Coral Springs area, as needed.
- Must have own working personal vehicle with auto insurance & be willing to transport supplies & equipment
- Mileage Reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy
- Must have valid Florida Driver’s license in good standing

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Must be detail-oriented and a team-player
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds & occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
