The Product Associate I is responsible for all aspects of certain investment products, supports Investment Consultants and Relationship Managers, and talks to clients when requested.
Duties and responsibilities include :
This Product Associate I role focuses on collective investment vehicles and stocks along these two basic functions :
Product Management :
- Prepares and updates customer-ready and internal-use-only presentations and guides;
Prepares customized proposals
Product Analysis :
Performs Bloomberg and Morningstar searches.
Undertakes Macroeconomic research and tasks, as assigned.
Performs studies of client holdings using Pershing’s NetExchange 360 and ReportCenter capabilities.
Uses Morningstar and other services to generate stock reports, create investment lists and track manager and indices performance.
Attends core funds conference calls, take notes, and circulate internally.
Informs sales force on MF corporate events (dividends, mergers, split, etc.).
Integral member of the products team, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AMTI
Collaborate with Trading desk for New Issues, Corporate Actions, Bond Proposals, portfolio rebalancing.
Ad-hoc investment-related duties and tasks, as assigned.
Minimum Education and / or Certifications Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or engineering is required.
Series 7 and 66 to be obtained in the first year
Minimum Work Experience Requirements :
1 - 3 years’ experience in investment / product analysis or relevant experience in broker-dealer or asset manager.
Technical and / or Other Essential Knowledge :
Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products including MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint
