Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Catenary Downstairs Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing practices, and safety protocols.

Duties
- Feed information to the upstairs operator regarding the cured catenary cable
- Work safely & follow all safety rules
- Follow all plant rules
- Producing quality products using working instructions, SOP’s, One-Point Lessons, and other training
- Comply with AmerCable 5S standards at all times
- Sustain ISO9001
- Communicate with supervisors & co-workers regarding the production of the cable
- Take directions from supervisors and perform other duties as requested
- Adheres to all AmerCable’s Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of basic math principles related to measurements and calculations.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to physically move material
- Must be able to pass AmerCable lift truck operator safety course
- Ability to operate hand tools and forklifts safely and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.91 - $24.74 per hour
